Deacon Update

Deacon is doing extremely well. He still does not sleep much, but he has a smile on his face much of the time and has begun to laugh a little.

My Bro Got Hitched

Jeff got married this past Friday (September 19) in the Timpanogas Temple. It was really nice to see mutual friends and of course family. A fun time was had by all. Below is a picture of both families at the head table at the luncheon.

More Pics

Deacon is so awesome. It is amazing how much you can grow to love someone over such a short period of time.

With Kathryn - Does it seem like he is always sleeping?

The Champ Is Here

Deacon Lindley Tuttle was born at 2:16 this morning. He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. Kathryn and Deacon are both doing well, but none of us have slept much. I will update you all further soon, but wanted to post a couple pictures.

Once Again It Has Been For--evvvvvv-errrrrrr Since My Last Post

I apologize to all my faithful readers for the 2 year+ hiatus from the world of blogging. It has not been for a lack of material to write about, but just a lack of memory. It is time for me to step up my game and provide anybody subscribing to this blog or who casually happens upon it some worthwhile information. Let the games begin ... again.

I've got some new ideas

I love writing on my blog, but just never remember to keep it updated. Anyway I have a couple of areas I am going to try to add so that more people will come in contact with it and it will be more interesting for those who do read.

I am going to add a section with my Elder's Quorum (Church) lessons. Another section of Music, movies and tv shows that I have recently listened to and watched. Lastly a section of interesting news that I read.

That's all I've got for now.

If You Like Me Check Out This Site

That is pretty cool. My wife is famous. Now we just need Deseret Book to step up to the plate and start promoting her and for me to step up and get a job so she can make another cd. One of these days.

Even better than Seether!

Check out this band

If anybody is reading this does not know that I love Nirvana, just so you know "I LOVE NIRVANA". Not love-ed.

If you like/love Nirvana - check out this band - Seether. http://seether.com/ You have probably heard them or heard of them. They rule. You can listen to their entire album at their site, watch videos and check their tour schedule. If they're coming to a venue near you I highly recommend it. They will be here August 26th. I'm there. The lead singer sounds more like Kurt than anyone I have ever heard and as an added bonus, they often cover Nirvana. Last time Kathryn and I saw them, they closed with "You Know You're Right". I could have died right then.

Anyway check it out. I especially recommend Remedy (their first single), The Truth, The Gift, & Burrito.

Life Got Busy

I cannot believe my last post I was looking for something to do. All of the sudden life became insanely busy.

This past week I completed Appellate Advocacy after handing in my Brief, and finishing my Oral Argument. It went better than expected in some regards and worse in others. I started in with my script I had diligently prepared, and as soon as I said, "May it please the Court, my name is Matthew Tuttle. I represent the Appellant, Anna Garner, in this matter." The judge's started firing off questions. I expected a hot bench, but yeow. The first question was about the end of my argument. (Throw script out the window). I ended up feeling like I was all over the place, just because all I was really doing was answering their questions instead of presenting my argument the way I had designed. My professor, said my rebuttal was perfect.

Next week I have my remedies final and then summer semester is over.

I am staying very busy researching for Professor Pasquale. He has me researching a very interesting argument regarding Google's digital library and the copyright implications. At least it is very interesting to me.

I was also recently accepted to take the Patent Bar exam. I need to fit in at least 200 hours of study time between now and the end of September, when I'll take the exam. If I should pass I might be able to get a job after law school. Sweet.

On my Dad's birthday I will take the MPRE. It's a test on the professional rules for the legal profession and should not be too bad.

Then my family will be here and it will be party central until school starts back up and they leave on Monday, August 22nd.

That's all the updates.

Later.

Ahhh... 2/3's of the way done

Hello friends and fans. Actually just foo, if you even still check this out. I think I'm just writing to myself. Perhaps that is why I only have enough incentive to write every couple of months.

Anyway, enough of that rambling. I am done with school for a piece. I'm taking two classes this summer and researching for Professor Pasquale, a well respected Intellectual Property professor. It should be a good summer. I have three grades back and was pleasantly suprised with all the results for the first time in my law school career.

I am sorry this is so boring, but such is life. I really don't have anything on the horizon either. Scratch that, my family will be visiting us in New Jersey in August. I can't wait for then.

Until sometime in the not so distant future.

I'm Back

I was talking to my friend Bill today and I was realizing that I need to keep up with Blog a little better. I still think that my sister Shannon is the only one that ever checks up on it, but it is also for my own good. It will act as somewhat of a journal.

I don't have any earth shattering news. I'm almost done with my second year of law school and looking for a summer job. I have a couple of applications in, but nothing too promising. We'll see. I might just end up taking classes and working somewhere for free to make some connections. It's who you know, not what you know.

Not much has changed

I'm still alive and well. I still don't have a job and it is hot as Hades in New Jersey.

We did get the air conditioning fixed in our car, but that doesn't help me much. I'm either in our house or at school.

Nobody knows about this site yet so I guess I don't feel like I have to write anything too interesting.

It is 12:30 am Friday. Kathryn is sound asleep after a hard days work and resting her feet for another one tomorrow. I'm still looking for a summer job which has turned out to be more difficult than I thought.

Well just thought I better write something after I posted that crazy picture. Check out Kathryn's site at http://www.therealkathryn.com. She put it together and I am going to try to maintain it. Out for now.

First Post

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I am alive and well.
